The Store Manager Trainee learns and develops skills for a Store Manager role, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, building a diverse team, and driving sales and profitability.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and evaluating team members; creating a welcoming environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion; managing daily store operations, inventory, and merchandising; and ensuring safety and compliance.
The role involves problem solving, conflict resolution, and supporting community involvement. Trainees will learn paperwork processing, sales forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and special project coordination.
Qualifications include retail or related experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and the ability to work flexible hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate store equipment. Travel to other store locations may be required.
