Store Clerk Responsibilities (40%): Handling transactions, balancing cash, preparing sales and tax records, and providing excellent customer service. Assisting with donations, organizing and displaying items, and cleaning the store.
Sorting Room Worker Responsibilities (40%): Receiving, inspecting, sorting, tagging, and storing donated items; preparing items for display or disposal; maintaining an orderly warehouse.
Other Responsibilities (20%): Pricing items, helping customers with loading/unloading, supervising volunteers, answering calls, and assisting with disaster relief projects.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting light objects, and operating a cash register. Work environments vary between store and warehouse conditions.
High school diploma or GED preferred, with retail experience advantageous. No certifications required.
