Job Description
Our client is seeking a Store Clerk/Cashier to support daily store operations. This role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operate cash register, process transactions, and handle payments accurately
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience
Store Operations
Stock shelves, unload and load products, and manage inventory
Change pop bibs and maintain product dispensing equipment
Keep store areas clean and organized, including restrooms and floors
Maintenance & Upkeep
Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the location
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas at all times
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent bending
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Additional Requirements
Must attend CPI orientation (Monday mornings in Hastings) prior to start
Orientation lasts approximately 4 hours
Must meet scheduling deadlines for orientation registration
