As a Store Auditing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy and operational excellence across our stores. This position combines auditing, data analysis, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support store teams with inventory and receiving processes. You’ll work closely with Operations and Loss Prevention to help maintain accurate reporting, improve processes, and support overall store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Location/Schedule:
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Research and validate audits, identifying trends and reporting findings to Operations and Loss Prevention teams
- Monitor daily and weekly reports to identify and correct receiving and inventory errors
- Support training for store employees on receiving procedures, invoice entry, and invoice corrections
- Compile, maintain, and distribute audit and inventory-related reports
- Conduct periodic store audits to stay current on operational procedures, trends, and store needs
- Assist with audit scheduling and help maintain accurate negative inventory reporting across store locations
You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- 2+ years of inventory analysis or auditing experience in a convenience store or retail environment
- Experience working with cost-based line item inventory processes and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you also bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience using PDI Enterprise Software
- Previous experience supporting or training store teams on operational processes and procedures
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $21.00/hr - $24.00/hr + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
