Description

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Location: Camarillo, CA
Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00AM to 2:30PM - Monday to Friday

Summary:

  • Communicate and coordinate with Operations regarding specific material management and movement needs.
  • Perform material management activities within the systems and procedures, including SAP operating system.
  • Ensure timely delivery to the shop floor and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate inventory management using SAP and other computerized databases.
  • Conduct cycle counting for accurate inventory counts.
  • Handle material responsibilities associated with receiving, repackaging, transacting, counting, and stocking parts.
  • Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, and other records.
  • Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.
  • Route items to various departments and ensure items meet specifications.
  • Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing of stock to the manufacturing floor.
  • Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Sort, count, identify, verify, and track all material using Oracle to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented.
  • Assist management in recycling material in Receiving and Stockroom.
  • Cooperate with representatives from other departments to provide Receiving & Stockroom information as requested.
  • Ensure that all documents and material received in the warehouse and Stockroom adhere to Plant Policy.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Possess organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to stand, kneel, bend, reach, and climb ladders; lift 50 pounds consistently without assistance.
  • Experience with inventory management systems SAP or any MRP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math and computer skills for accurate input.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
