Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Stockroom Attendant to join our MFG TEAM! As the Stockroom Attendant, we need someone to issue supplies, reorder parts, and check inventory systems. 

Primary Objective:
Under minimal supervision, maintains manufacturing supply inventories. Issues parts and equipment upon request. 

Major Function and Scope: 
  • Issues supplies, machinery parts and tools as needed by maintenance and production personnel. 
  • Reorders parts, supplies and tools as needed. 
  • Checks inventory system prior to ordering. 
  • Processes material requests using inventory system. 
  • Reviews and maintains stock quantities. 
  • Keys items received into inventory control system and makes other adjustments as necessary. 
  • Follows standard operating and safety procedures. 
  • Keeps supervisor informed of work in progress and any problem areas. 
  • Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized. 
  • Performs other related duties as required. 

Experience and Knowledge Required: 
  • High school or equivalent experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, electronic, or similar parts inventory. 
  • Experience using computerized inventory control system. 

Competencies:
  • Ability to read and understand procedures in English.  
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.  The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
