The Stockroom Associate is responsible for managing and organizing merchandise in a retail stores backroom, including receiving shipments, unpacking products, tagging items, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom. The position focuses on maintaining the overall flow of inventory, managing stockroom organization, and assisting with shipments. Assist sales team in replenishing sales floor after shipment or during recovery periods.

Education/ Experience: Previous Stockroom experience is preferred but not necessary. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills and Ability: • Organized and have attention to detail • Priority-setting and time management • Communication skills: Interacting with drivers and other Retail Rush staff.

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands: Employees must be able to: • Work in a typical stockroom environment where there may be uneven floor surfaces. • Work in an environment where internal temperatures may vary based on climate change. • Bend, squat, twist, stand, lift, climb, and walk for long periods of time. • Lift up to 40 pounds - assisted lifting is available on request. • Climb ladders when required. • Pull and push products that weigh 60 plus pounds utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

Pay & Benefits: Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. The salary range for this position is $15.5 to $X18.6 hourly. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.

Receiving and Unloading: Accepting deliveries and processing incoming inventory.

Inventory Management: Keeping accurate stock records, scanning products, and verifying invoices /manifest/ BoL against deliveries.

Notify Management when new product arrives.

Stockroom Organization: Maintaining a neat, organized, and safe stockroom environment.

Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety hazards to the Manager.

Replenishment: Moving products from the stockroom to the sales floor for display and purchase.

Execute daily stocking tasks, including receiving shipments, replenishing sales floor inventory, and organizing stockroom.

Collaborate with team members to meet store and customer service goals.

Operate material handling equipment to move stock.

Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.

Participate in training and development activities.
