Stock / Cashier Associate

SUMMARY

The Stocker is responsible for ensuring all shelves and displays are fully stocked, and fulfills cashier duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, and refrigerators.
• Stocking store shelves with product shipments.
• Ensuring each stocking order has the correct products in the correct quantities.
• Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including kitchen, cooler and shelves), and dispose of trash.
• Adheres to strict safety policies and practices.
• Perform cashier duties.
• Some food and beverage prepping is expected.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have TABC license.
• Previous experience in receiving, handling and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Must have reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and kneeling.
