Position: Steward/Utility Worker
Location: Pearl at Kalauao
Facility: 18-hole public cours
Position Summary:
The Steward/Utility worker will maintain a high level of standard and cleanliness, by washing all dishes, silverware, and supplies. The dishwasher must be able to perform duties with minimum supervision.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
- Be dependable.
Responsibilities
- Clean, wash and sanitize all dishes, clean kitchen after close.
- Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, prep tables, kitchen floors and common areas.
- Empty rubbish cans as required.
- Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required to include food runner for banquet events.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is often required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift grasp, bend, for minimum of five hours at a time without sitting.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
- Noise level is moderate to loud
- Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
- Work weekends and holidays
