**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a Steward/Dishwasher to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. The Steward/Dishwasher will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Steward/Dishwasher or similar role.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
**Responsibilities:**
- Load, run, and unload dish machine.
- Wash specific items by hand, such as pots or pans.
- Store clean equipment, dishes, or other items in designated areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach.
**Work Environment:**
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Exposure to hot and humid conditions.
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
