This position is specifically for the Parx Casino Hotel.
Description
- Gathers and removes trash from kitchen and restaurant areas (including closets, walk-ins, storage areas, hallways, etc.) as assigned.
- Fills dishwashers as required to ensure that outlets have a good supply of clean dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and other supplies.
- Polishes silver and glassware as directed.
- Cleans, sweeps and/or mops floors in kitchen and restaurant areas (including closets, walk-ins, storage areas, hallways, etc.), and cleans and repositions safety mats correctly as directed.
- Clean kitchen or restaurant equipment as assigned. Clean dry storage and walls as necessary.
- Stocks carts with items like ice, paper products, food products, glassware and silverware.
- Transports stocked carts to assigned outlets.
- All deliveries stored correctly and secured.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.
- Must be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting many different tools and pieces of equipment of varying weights during a full 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
- Must be able to comprehend spoken English.
