Location: Waco, TX

Facility: Ascension Providence

Department/Speciality: Sterile Processing

Schedule: Full time | Night shift | Monday-Friday | 10:30pm-7:00 am. 
Training Monday-Thursday from 10:00am-8:30pm for 3 months

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Guarantee surgical safety by meticulously decontaminating and sterilizing instruments, ensuring every tool meets the highest standards for infection prevention.

• Validate clinical readiness by inspecting, assembling, and testing instrument sets to ensure surgeons have the exact, high-functioning tools they need for every procedure.

• Drive operational precision by using tracking systems to maintain 100% accuracy in instrument counts, preventing delays and ensuring the operating room runs smoothly.

• Support the surgical pipeline by proactively managing inventory and equipment levels, ensuring the right resources are always available for life-saving cases.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association preferred.
• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Experience in Healthcare
• Surgical Services or Sterile Processing
