Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

Location: Seaside, OR
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s
Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment.

  • Reprocess endoscopes in accordance with facility policies and industry standards.

  • Operate sterilization equipment and maintain accurate sterilization documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.

  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly.

  • Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and support surgical services operations.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and equipment.

Requirements

  • Current Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST, CSPDT, or equivalent) required.

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience required.

  • Experience with endoscope reprocessing, general decontamination, and sterile processing required.

  • Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
