Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC

Department: Sterile Processing

Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift - 3PM-11:30p - 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Sterile processing tech certification, preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competencytesting. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology.
What You'll Do:
  • Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment
  • Ensures the instruments and equipment are available
  • Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care.
