What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Valid CRCST or CSPDT certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in hospital sterile processing (Level I or II)
- Proficiency with sterilization equipment such as Sterrad machines, ultrasonic cleaners (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed), and sterilizers
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and reliability
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced sterilization technologies
- Prior experience in emergency or trauma hospital units
- Familiarity with surgical instrumentation management
- Ability to adapt to shift rotations and emergency assignments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification in sterile processing (CRCST or CSPDT)
- At least two years of hospital-based sterile processing experience
- Previous exposure to high-volume surgical settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work the mid-shift (5x8-hour shifts, 14:00 22:30)
- Willingness to be assigned to emergency teams if needed, with understanding the expectation to stay until the event passes
- Reliable work history with no prior cancellations
- Must be comfortable with potential emergency response obligations and team assignments
- Eligible for licensure, certification reimbursement, and applicable travel or related expenses
