- Experience: 3+ years in a similar hospital or trauma setting

What Youll Do:
- Decontaminate all surgical instruments and scopes, including drills and Da Vinci devices
- Assemble instruments across multiple service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Operate sterilization equipment (E.g., Sterrad and steam sterilizers)
- Perform high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope processing
- Manage sterile storage areas efficiently
- Serve as OR liaison to coordinate instrument and tray requirements
- Utilize Censitrac tracking system to document procedures thoroughly
- Float to other locations as needed and work with a dedicated team committed to patient safety and operational excellence
What You Need:
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA)
- 3+ years of experience in a busy hospital or trauma facility, ideally Level One trauma center like OSU
- Strong knowledge of sterilization processes, instrument assembly, and scope processing
- Ability to work night shift and adapt to facility needs
