This Sterile Processing Supervisor role is based in Tamarac, FL at a 317-bed acute care hospital that holds Joint Commission certification as a Primary Stroke Center, operates a dedicated Orthopedic and Spine Institute, maintains a certified Baker Act Receiving Facility, and provides comprehensive behavioral health services across inpatient and outpatient levels of care.

The role. The Sterile Processing Supervisor reports to the Director of Surgical Services and carries primary leadership responsibility for the Central Sterile Processing department. Day-to-day, this person guides the orientation, development, and ongoing management of CSP personnel while directing the full scope of sterile processing functions to keep the department running smoothly. The supervisor plays a key role in maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards governing instrument processing and sterilization, and contributes to the development, review, and revision of departmental policies and procedures.

What we're looking for.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from an approved CSP technical program
  • 3–5 years of sterile processing experience required
  • Lead or supervisor experience in an acute care setting required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Full-time, day shift with no weekend requirement.

Compensation. $20.35 - $28.49/hr plus SOB and Relo on a case by case
