Job Title: Sterile Processing Manager
Location: Asheville, NC
Type: Permanent Contingent | Full-Time Evenings
Shift & Schedule: Generally 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Hours May Vary Based on Department Needs and Meetings
Pay: $52,000 – $90,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-Case Basis
Relocation Assistance: Starting at $5,000

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Sterile Processing Manager for an exciting Travel or Local job in Asheville, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily Sterile Processing Department operations
  • Provide leadership and supervision to departmental staff and team leads
  • Support staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and competency validation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, aseptic technique, and sterilization standards
  • Assist with orientation, continuing education, and staff development programs
  • Collaborate with OR and hospital departments to improve workflow efficiency and coordination
  • Maintain quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor departmental resources, equipment, and operational needs
  • Promote excellent customer service for physicians, staff, and patients
  • Participate in hospital and community engagement activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Two-Year Surgical Technology Course OR CRCST/CSPDT certification
  • CSPDT/IAHCSMM Certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience required
  • Strong supervisory, communication, and technical skills
  • Knowledge of OR instrumentation, sterilization processes, aseptic technique, and infection control
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency required
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous Surgery Center management experience considered
  • Strong operational leadership and process improvement experience preferred
