- Active RN License.
- Current BLS Certification from AHA.
- ACLS, NIHSS Certification required.
- Minimum 2+ years of Step Down, Telemetry experience.

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step Down/Telemetry.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and oxygenation.
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Interpret telemetry monitoring and promptly recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, high-flow oxygen therapy, post-operative care, and other intermediate-level treatments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Step Down (Progressive Care) Unit. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans for patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care.
