Pay: Starting at $28/based on experience
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (daily overtime available)

Position Overview:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the manufacturing facility and supporting overall production efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing employee work schedules based on production needs
- Act as a liaison between production staff and supervision
- Support maintenance activities as needed
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
- Work closely with welders, including training new hires and helping non-certified welders achieve certification
- Partner with the Quality Control Manager to ensure consistent product quality
- Help develop and implement shop floor production standards, continuously improving processes and equipment
- Collaborate with management on annual budgeting for operational improvements
- Perform routine quality checks on the shop floor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and completion of a welding trade school program
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Experience with carbon steel MIG welding
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
