Your mission
Safely operate, observe, and maintain the equipment that turns raw ferrous inputs into consistent, high grade output while collaborating with a tight knit team to meet daily targets.
How you will contribute
- Operate and monitor steel and iron production machinery with attention to detail
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance to sustain optimal performance
- Uphold safety rules and keep the work area neat and organized
- Coordinate with teammates to hit production schedules and goals
- Document production information and report abnormalities without delay
- Help train new team members on processes and safe work practices
- Drive improvements through participation in efficiency and quality initiatives
What it takes
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred but not required
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills
- Comfort in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
- Effective communicator and supportive team player
- Understanding of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices
- Availability for flexible hours and overtime when necessary
