Maintains mechanical systems in all buildings at the University under the jurisdiction of senior management. There are times when renovation work is required along with new installations. Emergency situations do arise and the steamfitter must respond immediately. Must be able to work in adverse conditions. These conditions can include confined spaces, extreme heights, damp and humid areas, and hot or cold conditions.
