Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Statistician II to support the US Army National Guard (USARNG) G-1 Human Resources Management System (HRMS) contract. This role involves applying statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data, transforming it into actionable insights that support mission objectives. The Statistician II performs all functional duties independently and may specialize in areas such as economic or workforce statistics.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze HR and operational data.
  • Design and implement data collection and analysis strategies to support program goals.
  • Interpret and summarize statistical findings to provide clear, usable information for decision-makers.
  • Prepare reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate data insights effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with program managers, analysts, and technical teams to support performance measurement and strategic planning.
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform all functional duties independently.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in statistical analysis.
  • Must have a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
  • Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with military or government HR data systems.
  • Familiarity with economic statistics or workforce analytics.
  • Knowledge of federal data privacy and security standards.
