As a State Workforce Policy Consultant, you will be required to perform advanced level, independent work in the development, implementation, and administration of HR related rules, policies, and large workforce initiatives requiring coordination and alignment across all agencies of the SPS. Since your judgment might influence policies and decisions affecting employees in State Personnel System agencies statewide, this position is one of high responsibility. Examples of primary responsibilities include: Providing consultative and technical assistance to management, agencies, and the public by interpreting state and federal laws and applying HR best practices.
