What You'll Do: In this role, you will drive growth for Accounts in Force, P/C Premium and Life Production Credit by supporting high producing agents in developing and expanding high quality sales and service models. You will also:

  • Facilitate Business Planning/Management coaching and conversations with high producing Agents and staff. Coordinate with District Managers to assist in establishing annual sales goals and action plans to meet goals.
  • Partner with high producing agents to identify and implement efficiencies in agent operations to manage agency expenses.
  • Help high producing agencies grow their revenue by increasing current production across current lines sold, maximizing contracts, and implementing systems to drive efficiencies within their operations.
  • Drive expansion of product lines and sales of all product lines within high producing Agencies to maximize agency revenue and attain company objectives.
  • Support in recruiting, onboarding, and training Sales Staff. Identify training and development opportunities and coordinate appropriate resources.
  • Partner with high producing Agents to establish plans that will ensure the continuity of business including transitions and exit strategy.
  • Promote the Farm Bureau Federations and support membership growth through the high producing Agents by providing stability and growth to the county and state organization and by fostering positive relationships and assisting in attainment of established Farm Bureau Federation membership goals.
  • Coordinate closely with District Managers and other home office resources in providing needed support.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • College degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or equivalent plus at least 10 years insurance/financial service field leadership or related experience required.
  • FINRA Registered Representative and Principal, Series 6, 63 & 26 passed and "good to sell" with our broker / dealer.
  • Must be licensed in all Product lines offered by the company in states currently assigned (Life and Health, Property /Casualty; Commercial, Crop/Hail) within 90 days.
  • Must have the same non-resident state licensing as agents within 30 days of hire.
  • Completed U4 packet must be submitted to FINRA within 30 days of hire.
  • Industry specific designations preferred (LUTCF, CLU, ChFC, LLIF, CPCU).
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 60% across assigned territory including locally, as well as overnight required.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Previous business ownership experience preferred.
