If you're energized by complex state income tax issues, enjoy advising clients, and take pride in developing people, our State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a growing SALT practice. You'll work closely with clients and colleagues to navigate multi‑state tax challenges while helping shape thoughtful, practical solutions. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values technical excellence, sound judgment, and long‑term client relationships over one‑size‑fits‑all answers.
As our SALT Manager, you'll manage state income tax compliance and consulting engagements across a variety of industries, serving as a trusted advisor on filing positions, risk areas, and opportunities for tax savings. You'll lead and oversee engagements from planning through delivery-setting timelines, supervising, and mentoring staff, and performing detailed technical reviews to ensure quality and accuracy. As a member of the team, you'll act as a technical resource for others, contribute to practice development efforts, and support broader firm growth through collaboration and business development. The position blends hands‑on technical work with leadership, coaching, and client relationship management.
