Job Description:
- Pay: $40 – 55/hr (W2)
- 1-year assignment with potential for extension based on performance and business need
- 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ
- You will design, develop, and maintain staining software procedures that support diagnostic applications
- Collaborate closely with assay development, engineering, regulatory, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions
- Develop software supplements, manage supporting database elements, and ensure projects are delivered on time with a “Quality First Time” mindset
- Perform software testing, debugging, verification, documentation updates, and deployment support throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Participate in code reviews, procedure reviews, and project activities from requirements gathering through implementation
- Work in an Agile environment while supporting multiple concurrent projects
Qualifications:
- 0 – 5 years of experience (new BS/MS graduates are encouraged to apply!!)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Basic programming experience with C#
- Exposure to Python and SQL is preferred
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software testing, debugging, and test case creation
- Internship or academic project experience in software development is a plus
- Medical device or life sciences (Biology/Chemistry) experience is a plus
