Matrix Home Care is seeking an experienced and organized Staffing Coordinator to support our Davie branch. This role is responsible for coordinating caregiver and nursing schedules, supporting patient staffing needs, and assisting with day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced home health environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, prior staffing or scheduling experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service to patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and office staff. Position Summary: The Staffing Coordinator will assist with scheduling field staff for patient care assignments, coordinating coverage, communicating schedule changes, and ensuring patient needs are met in a timely and professional manner. This role is especially important in helping schedule RN frequency visits, ensuring nursing visits are coordinated according to patient care plans, visit frequency requirements, and clinical direction. Responsibilities: Coordinate caregiver, CNA/HHA, LPN, and RN schedules based on patient needs and staff availability Schedule RN frequency visits and ensure visits are assigned according to patient care plans, required visit frequency, and clinical direction Assist with staffing new and existing cases in the home care/home health setting Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and internal team members regarding scheduling needs and updates Maintain accurate schedules and update changes in the system as needed Assist with call-outs, schedule changes, and coverage needs Track staff availability and help identify staffing gaps Support onboarding coordination and communication with field staff as needed Provide excellent customer service and professional communication Work closely with branch leadership and the clinical team to support patient care needs Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures Qualifications: Prior staffing, scheduling, or coordinator experience preferred Home health, home care, healthcare, or medical office experience strongly preferred Experience scheduling nurses, CNAs, HHAs, or field staff is a plus Experience scheduling RN frequency visits is strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Strong computer skills and ability to learn scheduling systems Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Preferred Experience: Home health or private duty scheduling experience Knowledge of caregiver and nursing schedules Experience working with RN visit frequency, patient care needs, and field staff coordination Familiarity with Medicare home health or healthcare staffing workflows is a plus Benefits and Highlights: Full-time opportunity Weekly pay through direct deposit Supportive office and leadership team Opportunity to grow within a home health care organization Meaningful work supporting patients, families, and field staff How to Apply: Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume.
