Staff Registered Engineer - Structural - Hydraulic Structures - Black & Veatch

Key Responsibilities Lead the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of hydraulic structures such as dams, spillways, and flood control facilities.Perform advanced structural analysis using software like SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and perform hydraulic simulations with HEC‑RAS and related tools.Develop and review construction documents, specifications, and technical reports to ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications.Support business development by preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and presenting innovative solutions to stakeholders.Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a focus on hydraulic structures.10+ years of progressive experience in structural design and hydraulic analysis for large‑scale infrastructure projects.Proficiency in HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
