About the position:

Must be fellowship-trained in cardio-oncology

  • Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and do outreach in surrounding counties and with other affiliated organizations around the state
  • Opportunity to partner with Norton Cancer Institute, which employs over 100 providers offering full-service oncology care on all four adultservice campuses in the Louisville area as well as outreach locations across the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana
  • Advanced practice provider first call structure

The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Doctorate Degree Medicine
  • One of: DO or MD
