In our time of Company growth, we seek a Staff RN Cardiology

Work Locations: Bradenton, FL

As part of this role, you will:

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and symptoms
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures
  • Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and monitor telemetry
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures such as stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, and echocardiograms
  • Educate patients and families on heart health, medications, lifestyle modifications, and disease management
  • Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols

What you need to bring to this role:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in cardiology, telemetry, or critical care

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients with heart-related illnesses, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
