Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse based at Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours:
23 hours per week. Hours will be flexible, on a rotational shift pattern working day or nightshift, with a weekend commitment.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
What you will do:
As an NMC registered nurse you will be part of the nursing team providing a high standard of person centred care within Ward 1 Woodland View, a busy 30 bedded general rehabilitation ward.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with time management is essential. You will be required to work effectively with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring evidence based practice and the highest level of care. You will have a key role in providing safe, effective person centred care at all times.
