Job TitleGrant Compliance Unit Chief (Staff Management Auditor)Job Description And DutiesThe Staff Management Auditor works under the general direction of the Senior Management Auditor of the Audits and Compliance Services Section in the Office of Compliance.Provides overall management of the Grant Compliance Unit and direct supervision of audit staff.Responsible for performing and/or coordinating fiscal and compliance audits in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with applicable auditing standards, best practices, and State and Federal control agency requirements.May involve up to 25% travel throughout California; overnight stays may require carrying up to 25 pounds of equipment.In July 2025 the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025.
