Overview Position title: Staff Engineer, IdentityLocation: US-RemoteAbout the roleWe are looking for an experienced engineering leader to join us in leading and growing our Identity Team at LTK. The role will have you being a hands-on technology leader driving architecture strategy, platform modernization, and secure, scalable solutions across the enterprise. As an Identity Team Lead, you will build a team of engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance, reliability, security and scalability of our Identity platform, making sure every component is running at its peak.How you will make an impact Drive the vision and strategy for our Identity Platform in partnership with the Product Management & Stakeholders.Deliver a scalable, secure API platform as the single entry point for all public APIs, integrated with Auth0 for authentication/authorization.Migrate legacy auth systems to Auth0 with refresh token rotation, fine-grained authorization, and multi-tenant support.Lead the enterprise IAM strategy; in-house expert on Auth0, OAuth2, OIDC, and fine-grained authorization (FGA).Build reusable code templates, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards to improve speed and quality.Guide the team on architecture principles, security best practices, and cloud-native design patterns.Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across engineering and product management.Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, support, and drive projects forward.What you will bring to LTK 4+ years of management/lead experience, leading/standing up a Software Engineering Function5+ years of demonstrated expertise shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Go.Experiencing architecting, building, and operationalizing an identity and authentication platform for organizational adoption.Deep understanding and expertise of Auth0, Okta, Authentik, Keycloak, or similar identity provider solutions.Experience building developer platforms/frameworks (Backstage.io, Cortex, Humanitec, score.dev et al.) for companies past the start-up stageDeep understanding and experience rolling out authorization systems such as OPA, FGA (OpenFGA), or similar solutions.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with CI/CD tools like Github Actions, Gitlab, Circle CI, Argo, KargoExperience with Infrastructure as Code, including CloudFormation and TeraformKnowledge of observability best practices and logging/monitoring tools like DataDog, Splunk, New Relic, Edge Delta, Prometheus, et al.Experience with AWS systems such as ECS, Lambda, RDS et al.Experience writing services in Go, Python, C++ or JavaHave built scalable internal and public-facing APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP).A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgencyDedication to fierce prioritization and operational excellenceAdaptability to a dynamic, fast-moving environmentA growth mindset and openness to feedbackWhat we offer The opportunity to be part of the leading global company in creator commerceA remote-first, productivity-first environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits package to meet the needs of you and your family401(k) with LTK company matchingMedical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental InsurancePaid Maternity Leave and Paid Paternity LeaveSummer Fridays and Flexible PTOAbout LTK Founded in 2011, LTK is the global technology platform purpose-built to empower lifestyle creators to monetize their content.
