Your role will encompass developing, verifying, and enhancing electronic components within advanced electro-optical systems. Responsibilities include designing circuit boards, developing firmware for FPGAs and CPUs, crafting cable/harness layouts, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. You will oversee the integration, testing, and troubleshooting of components at both the board and system levels across various projects.
**Essential Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Proficient in the design, integration, and troubleshooting of circuit boards.
- Adept at conducting field tests and experiments.
- Skilled in using electrical lab equipment for embedded system development.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred.
- Expertise in developing highly reliable electronics for military or space applications.
- Proficiency in FPGA/CPLD design and simulation.
- Experience in CPU/Microcontroller firmware development and integration.
- Knowledge of LIDAR technologies.
