Responsibilities
Develop and implement educational programs to improve staff knowledge and skills, resulting in improved patient outcomes and satisfaction
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify training needs and develop curricula to address those needs
Coordinate and facilitate staff training sessions, workshops, and in-services
Evaluate the effectiveness of staff development programs and make recommendations for improvement
Provide guidance and support to new hires and orientees to ensure a smooth transition to our team
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in staff development and adult learning
Assist with quality improvement initiatives and participate in committee meetings as needed
Requirements
Current RN license in the state of Alabama
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and staff development best practices
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed
Strong patient-centered approach and commitment to providing exceptional care
