Description
The Staff Contract Manager provides advanced expertise in contract management, leading complex contract development, negotiation, and execution to support goals and reduce risk. Independently manages agreements, using strong analytical and negotiation skills to drive financial, operational, and compliance outcomes. Partners with business, legal, finance, and operations to guide terms, inform decisions, and improve contract practices.

What You'll Do:
- Manage the full contract lifecycle for complex agreements, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and maintaining contracts.
- Analyze contract terms and conditions, identifying risks, obligations, and opportunities to improve financial and operational outcomes.
- Lead negotiations for complex or high‑impact agreements, balancing business needs with risk management and compliance considerations.
- Interpret contract language and provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure proper execution and adherence to terms.
- Ensure accurate documentation, version control, and maintenance of contract repositories, including amendments, renewals, and updates.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (e.g., legal, finance, procurement, operations) to resolve issues and align contract strategies with business priorities.
- Develop and enhance contract templates, processes, and standards to improve efficiency, consistency, and governance.
- Support data analysis and reporting related to contract performance, cost optimization, and service delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practices for contract management across the organization.
- Provide guidance or informal mentorship to less experienced team members on contract practices and standards.
Essential Skills:
- 6 - 8 years of experience in contract management, procurement, legal operations, or related areas.
- Strong expertise in contract lifecycle management, negotiation, and interpretation of contract terms.
- Ability to assess risk, compliance, and financial implications of contractual agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for addressing complex contract scenarios.
- Experience with contract management systems, repositories, and documentation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to translate complex contract language for non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and influence outcomes across cross‑functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Required Education: Bachelors degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)

Target Compensation: $104,000 - $125,000 + Annual Bonus
