Must perform a variety of complicated problem-solving tasks. Responsible for daily supervision of design and technical development of projects. At the outset of each new project or current assignment prepare a project budget scenario and then track hours spent on project. Prepare suggestions for staffing requirements and production to keep project performance on track. Define along with the project manager the productivity and profit goals for each assigned project. Work directly with project managers in the conceptual development of the project assignments. Develop effective client relationships in bringing projects to fruition. Keep design support team productive and efficient. Responsible for check set review code compliance and risk management review of assigned projects. Works with contractors to price bid and construct projects. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree in architecture from accredited program. Minimum 4 years related experience completion of masters degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. Previous consulting experience preferred. Proficient in REVIT Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
