QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience specifically at the Senior Accountant level.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial close processes; advanced Excel and accounting system experience (experience with MIP is preferred).
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and analytical thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead or support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Research and apply accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) to complex transactions; ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare audit schedules, technical documentation, and respond to auditor inquiries.
  • Analyze financial results and explain variances and trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and special accounting projects.
