Key Responsibilities for a Staff Accountant

• 
  
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• 
  
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including tracking and recording booking-related revenue
• 
  
• Prepare and generate monthly P&L reports, with a focus on analyzing revenue streams and cost structures
• 
  
• Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• 
  
• Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks Desktop and other accounting systems
• 
  
• Collaborate with operations to ensure proper revenue recognition and expense tracking
• 
  
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed
• 
  

Qualifications for a Staff Accountant

• 
  
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a Staff Accountant
• 
  
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop is required
• 
  
• Exposure to additional accounting or ERP systems is highly preferred
• 
  
• Experience handling both AP and AR functions
• 
  
• Ability to prepare and analyze P&L statements
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully in-office environment
