    About Role

    Staff Accountant

    We are looking for a highly motivated staff accountant to join our US Finance team.  The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by performing day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This position will require you to have a broad understanding of basic accounting principles, great attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and excellent communication skills.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Record and reconcile daily cash transactions across multiple bank accounts
    • Process and record employee T&E expenses, ensuring proper coding and ledger reconciliation
    • Monitor, process, and accurately post AP card expenses to appropriate GL accounts
    • Record various journal entries and assist in maintaining the general ledger
    • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
    • Prepare financial reports and schedules as needed
    • Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
    • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
    • Assist in other accounting projects which includes cross collaboration with other teams in the Finance Department and help evolving our processes
    • Manage workload efficiently by organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a timely and high-quality manner
    • Represent the Finance team with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
    • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
    • CPA preferred or desire to obtain CPA license
    • Understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting principles and practices
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
    • A strong sense of urgency, with the ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Solid analytical acumen
    • Legally authorized to work in the US
