The Accountant is responsible for general accounting activities across all US businesses ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely completion of key accounting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full-cycle accounting, including recording transactions in journals and posting to ledgers and reconciling trial balance accountsPrepare and deliver financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisCore Accounting Areas involvement:Cash and banking activitiesInternational accounts receivableAccounts payableInventory accountingFixed assets accountingFixed Assets and LeasesSupport capital asset accounting, including additions and disposals and depreciation calculations and journal entriesContract administrationFinancial Planning:partner with the Country Financial Director to support forecasting and budgeting and financial analysisOperations & CollaborationSupport cross-functional finance activities, including AP, AR, banking, month-end close, and reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve financial discrepanciesControls & ComplianceMaintain documentation of procedures and internal controlsPerform internal audit procedures as requestedEnsure compliance with safety policies and required trainingOtherPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field0-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentPublic accounting experience is an assetTechnical SkillsWorking knowledge of IFRS (fundamental knowledge required; advanced is a plus)Experience with ERP/accounting systems (required)Professional SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organization and time managementAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
