Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to assist with financial operations for our client. This position is perfect for individuals with minimal formal experience who have a natural affinity for numbers and a willingness to be trained.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

• Process cash deposits efficiently and accurately.
• Track and manage past due invoices, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Communicate with producers regarding current or outstanding balances.

Accounts Payable:

• Process cash disbursements with attention to detail.
• Maintain communication with carriers regarding timelines as needed.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to resolve discrepancies between company invoices and our records.

Qualifications:

• Strong numerical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in accounting practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
