This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, analyzing financial data, and partnering with operational leaders to ensure the financial health of our business. The role supports project accounting activities and contributes to initiatives that scale our finance function as the company grows.What You'll DoGeneral AccountingPrepare and post journal entries.Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Support the preparation of monthly financial statements.Assist with annual audits and compliance activities.Construction & Project AccountingMonitor project costs and job cost reporting.Support Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) reporting.Assist with project profitability analysis.Partner with Operations to ensure financial accuracy across active projects.Review purchase orders, invoices, and project‑related expenses.Financial Analysis & ReportingAssist with budgeting and forecasting.Analyze financial trends and identify variances.Prepare recurring reports and dashboards for leadership.Support cash flow reporting and other ad‑hoc financial analysis.Process Improvement & TechnologyIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.Utilize ERP systems and modern technology to improve efficiency.Leverage AI tools responsibly to streamline administrative tasks, enhance reporting, and support data analysis.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that help CHE scale effectively.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of accounting experience.Strong understanding of GAAP.Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting month‑end close.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial formulas.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Preferred QualificationsConstruction, manufacturing, or project‑based accounting experience.Knowledge of job costing and Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) accounting.Experience with NetSuite, Sage 100 Contractor, or other ERP systems.Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI productivity tools.Experience supporting process improvement or accounting automation initiatives.Why Join CHE?Work directly with executive leadership.Help modernize accounting processes through technology and innovation.Gain exposure to construction and project accounting.Grow your career in a company committed to promoting from within.Make a meaningful impact in a rapidly growing organization.Build the Future with CHE.#J-18808-Ljbffr
