Vaco is seeking a Staff Accountant for a law firm in Phoenix!

Responsibilities include:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger accounts
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts regularly
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions
Maintain accurate documentation and organized financial records
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Requirements:
2+ years of full cycle accounting experience (Required)
Legal/Law firm experience (Required)
QuickBooks experience (Highly Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Required)
Willingness to go on site 2 days a week
Salary $70-85k
