Staff Accountant Job Type: Full-TimeReports To: VP of FinanceLocation: OKCAbout the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to independently manage the full accounting and payroll function for one to two companies. This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end role — the ideal candidate can own the books from daily transactions through month‑end close and financial reporting, with no need for heavy oversight.Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for one to two companies, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank/credit card reconciliationsProcess and manage full-cycle payroll, including tax filings, deductions, benefits withholding, and compliance with federal/state regulationsPrepare and post journal entries; perform month-end and year-end closePrepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for management reviewMaintain accurate, audit-ready financial records and supporting documentationSupport external audits and respond to auditor requestsHandle basic HR-related administrative tasks (new hire paperwork, benefits administration support, employee records)Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax deadlines, and applicable employment lawIdentify and implement process improvements for accounting and payroll efficiencyAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as neededQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)5+ years of accounting experience preferredPrior experience as an auditor strongly preferredHands‑on payroll processing experience preferredHR administrative experience a plusProficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferredStrong Excel skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple entities independentlyHigh level of accuracy, discretion, and integrity handling sensitive financial and employee dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhat We Offer Retirement Plan with matchingHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceSTD, LTD, Life Insurance – Company PaidWilder Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
