Company joint funding of dental and vision insurance, life and disability plans to full-time employees, 401k match, gym membership reimbursement, and use of company condominiums.What You Will DoPerforms daily accounting activities, such as new vendor setup, expense report and sub-application review.Create and execute general journal entries on a daily basis based on supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP.Month-end close activities, including maintaining monthly and quarterly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and work in process schedules.Assists with preparation of documentation as requested by external auditors.Prepares special financial reports as requested by management by analyzing account information and trends.Initiates accounting research to ensure all transactions are in accordance with GAAP.Supports the accounting team by performing other assigned duties as needed.Supports continuous improvement in the department by reviewing, recommending and implementing better methods for existing processes.Working Conditions - Office setting, Full time, Periodic travel may be required to other offices.Reporting Structure - Cost Accountant Manager or Assistant ControllerJob RequirementsStrong Analytical skills with a working knowledge of current tax laws.Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment.Self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
