We are a full-service CPA firm committed to delivering personalized accounting and tax solutions to businesses and individuals. We value integrity, accuracy, and long-term client relationships. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team.

Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will support our clients by preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activity, performing reconciliations, and assisting with tax preparation and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
  • Prepare business and individual tax returns
  • Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare payroll tax filings and sales tax returns
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve questions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent training and experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities

Work Hours:

- Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Extended hours during busy season/special projects required
- In-office position based in LaGrange, GA
