We are seeking applicants for a Staff Accountant role for a growing manufacturing company outside Burlington. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger management, and financial reporting, while working closely with operations and leadership.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain exposure to cost accounting and manufacturing operations within a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and support monthly reporting and variance analysis
  • Support inventory and cost accounting functions, including tracking materials and production costs
  • Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory accounts
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Partner with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audit requests
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Exposure to cost accounting or inventory accounting a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite highly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Pay Details: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour
