You will improve how the business runs.Key focus areas:Cash flow disciplineYou will work directly with ownership to translate field activity into financial clarity.Core ResponsibilitiesFinancial OperationsOwn monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reportingDeliver accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsMaintain integrity of the general ledgerJob Costing & Margin ControlImplement and refine job costing across fencing and decking projectsTrack labor, materials, and overhead by projectIdentify margin leakage and recommend corrective actionCash Flow & Working CapitalManage A/R and A/P cycles to improve cash conversionMonitor cash position and forecast near‑term liquiditySupport pricing discipline with real cost visibilitySystems & ProcessOptimize accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar)Build repeatable processes for invoicing, purchasing, and reportingSupport future system upgrades as volume scalesCompliance & RiskCoordinate with external CPA for tax and year‑end reportingMaintain documentation for audits, insurance, and licensingSupport internal controls appropriate for a growing contractorStrategic SupportAssist ownership with budgeting and forecastingProvide insight into project mix, pricing, and capacity decisionsSupport evaluation of expansion opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4+ years of accounting experienceStrong GAAP foundationExperience in construction, home services, or project‑based business preferredPreferred: Job costing experiencePreferred: CPA or CMASalary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 with 10-15% bonusHybrid: Monday - Thursday In office, Friday Remote#J-18808-Ljbffr
